Even so...

I remind you

that

We can do amazing things,

because we love and serve

For the Loved Ones

Prayer for Caregivers

Dear Lord,

What am I to do?

I feel so powerless.

My emotions sometimes scream at me and want to take me captive.

Sometimes they do take me captive.

I want to be strong.

I want to handle things with amazing maturity.

I want to be at peace.

Yet, sometimes I just want to pretend this is all a bad dream and soon I will wake up.

I am longing for your help this day.

Please let me feel your support.

Please let me see your miracles.

Please let me feel your love when I feel overwhelmed.

Please forgive me when I get angry.

I need to draw closer to you even when I feel like drawing away.

Hear my heart, Lord, and help me.

Amen

for those who are

not only the caregiver

but also the spouse.

Dear Lord,

I ask that you would flow your strength through me
this day.

I ask that you would draw my attention
to the beauty
that is in this day.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen

Quiet me

Lord

and help me

receive your comfort.

Be aware of the importance of Halt.

Halt

stands for:

Hungry

Angry

Lonely

Tired

The word "Halt" reminds us

that

we need to be careful

when we have those

feelings.

When we have

HALT feelings,

we need to remember

to use lots of self-control

and

be in continual prayer

until

we feel more like ourselves.
