Let's start with a simple prayer.

Prayer for Yielding to God

Dear God,

I need your help.

Today,

I am going to enter a season of listening

carefully

to you.

Amen

Take note:   God is cheering you on -

  right now!

God is saying.....

You

CAN

Conquer

Anger.

Almighty God,

You are Amazing and Awesome.

You are Great and Glorious.

You are Powerful, and

You do impossible things.

I come to you today and pray that you would

transform me

so that I have a 

greater desire

for the beauty and blessing

of

calmness and patience. 

I  WILL

become

the peaceful, patient person

that you are leading me to be.

I am going to teach you how to 

stop and say something 

that motivates you

to allow peace

to reign.

What you OFTEN say and pray

becomes

what you will do!!

Please say these Proclamations...

I WILL be a Champion today against anger.

I WILL be a Mighty Man / Woman of God.

I WILL have Victory over anger!

Say those Power sentences or make up ones of your own. 

 - Say them when you are tempted. - 

 And say them like you mean them!

Also,

when you start to get upset,

leave the room and get alone

and say your sentences... and then

Take HOLD of the POWER of God!

God will soon begin to remind you

to say your sentences.

Put them in your pocket!

No Guts - No Glory. 

Don't let an emotion rule over you.

You were created to

rule over your emotions.

You were created to do 

Great and Mighty things

through Christ Jesus.

It is TIME to start standing up 

and becoming 

AMAZING!

Draw me away from anger

and

closer to you

every day.

I will learn to catch myself and choose calmness and peace in my soul.

Lord, I am now moldable in your hands. I will be receptive to your voice. 

You have given me Great Power to do the right thing.

Dear Lord,

I come to you not satisfied with
staying average,

not satisfied with just the
traditional,

not satisfied with the way it has always been.

I press into you that I may come up higher.

With your help, Lord,

I'm going to take the reins of my life,

and I am going to change some things.

I declare by Faith

that this year,

I will become stronger and more determined.

I will take authority over those things

Lord God in Heaven,

Do Mighty Things on my behalf.

Today, I am giving you my past anger. I want to disconnect from it. I am going to start carefully listening to you. I WILL learn how to live in a new way.

In times of temptation, remind me of right decisions.
I will obey you.

Draw me away from the traps, snares, strategies, and hindrances of the devil.
I will listen to you, and I will follow you.

Help my loved ones. Heal my loved ones who have been hurt by my anger.

I don't want to hurt others. Bring out my inner compassion and love for others that have been buried beneath piles of disappointments, wounded feelings, and crushed dreams. Lord, heal my inner hurts. I give them to you.

I will give my past to you and refuse to let it influence me negatively.

I will rise up to be a Faithfully Focused Follower of Jesus Christ.

I want to become the

Amazing Person

that you created me to be.

Flow your loving water into all the dead areas inside of me.

Allow me to experience a new level of Peace and Hope that will propel me away from my episodes of anger.

Reveal to me how to conquer anger and live in peace.

Sometimes pride comes from a response to pain.
There is pain in not feeling God's love.

You say that I need to be humble.

Your Word tells me that

you give favor to the humble.

you lead the humble in what is right

I have decided that I want to abandon all my ungodly pride.

Ungodly Pride and Anger are my enemies.

I abandon them.

for letting anger run wild in my life. 

I repent of my sin.

I am ready to begin the process of 

yielding to you.
