Prayer for Teens for their Spiritual Maturity

Prayer for teenagers in your life

who

need to fully give their life to Jesus and grow spiritually.

-

The first prayer is for a -  teen girl.

The second prayer is for a -  teen boy.

God's Love

toward us

Ephesians 3:17-19 TLB

And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts,
living within you as you trust in him.
May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love;
^18-19 and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God’s children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is;
and to experience this love for yourselves,
though it is so great
that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it.
And so at last you will be filled up with God himself.

Lord of Love - Lord of Joy,

I pray for ___________.

I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in her heart.

May her roots go down deep into your marvelous love.

May she be awakened to New Life in Jesus.

May you become her strongest desire.

May she develop an insatiable desire to know you.

I pray that you would surround her with people who know you and deeply love you.

Raise her up as a Mighty Teen for Christ. May her light shine - drawing the right people toward her and repelling the wrong people from her. 

Solidify her in sound Christian doctrine. May her heart be so united to you that nothing will shake her faith and devotion to you. 

Protect her

physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally,

and spiritually.

May she have wisdom way beyond her years.

May her compassion and mercy be full and yet guided by wisdom.

May each day

be a day of

falling deeper in love with Jesus Christ

and the Word of God.

May she meet challenges with

readiness and the strength of determination.

Lord,

All teens have times of loneliness. May her times of

loneliness be seen as opportunities to grow closer to you.

May she love spending time with you

and

may she have an understanding

of the enormous love you have for her.

May she feel

special and adored

by the Great God of heaven and earth.

Help her in her studies. May she feel your guiding hand. Encourage her when she feels frustrated. Bring blessed surprises along her path to refresh her. 

Whisper to her the joys and the blessings of sexual purity. I pray she will save herself until marriage. Protect her from wrong boys and men.  Assure her that you will send your especially  - chosen one who will spectacularly fulfill her heart. Remind her to wait. 

May she be a girl and later woman

of forgiveness.

May she know the incredible blessings

of cultivating a heart that is quick to forgive.

I pray for your best blessings for her.

I pray in the Life-Transforming name of Jesus,
