Birthday Prayer

for Aging Parents

First Prayer is for a Mother

Second Prayer is for a Father

Dear Lord God,

I lift up my mother to you in prayer.

You are her loving Heavenly Father.
Give her thoughts of how special and valuable she is in your eyes and in the eyes of those of us who love her.

You are her loving Heavenly Friend.
Enable her to feel a special supernatural awareness of your presence as she celebrates her special day.

You are her loving Heavenly Comforter.
Comfort her as she ponders her increasing age and her body progressively changing.

I pray that you would stir all her loved ones to bring good tidings of great birthday joy to her on her special day. 

I pray these things in the Wondrous Name of Jesus,
