Prayer to Overcome Challenges

Dear Lord,

I pray for my son.

Help my son as he faces difficult assignments and difficult tests.

Inspire my son with an overcoming mind-set.

Instill in my son a "can do" attitude.

Motivate my son with an energizing enthusiasm and a dogged determination.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Dear Lord,

I pray for my son.

Have mercy on him as he seeks
to study hard
in order to make good grades.

*

Each day, prepare his mind
to learn concepts and to figure out problems.

*

Show him how to keep
his motivation and determination
STRONG!

*

Give him insights into strategies
for handling
frustrations, distractions, temptations, and weariness.

*

I ask these things in Jesus' name,

Lord,

Bless my child...

Dear Lord,

I ask that you would bless my son.

Bless him with a clear, sharp mind.

Bless him with your thoughts when he encounters problems, temptations, and difficult decisions.

Bless him with the best teachers and the best situations for learning.

Bless him with wise mentors and counselors.

Bless him with the opportunity to meet many great Christian men and women who sincerely love you and live for you.

Bless my son by often reminding him that his Heavenly Father loves him, helps him, and is daily seeking to deepen their relationship.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Heavenly Father,

Guide my son as he sets  - and moves forward in -
daily goals, short-term goals, and the final college goal of graduation.

Inspire him with wisdom thoughts and perseverance thoughts.

Teach him how to increase his self-control and how to decrease impulsiveness.

Encourage him to celebrate all his accomplishments -
and to celebrate in a way that is uplifting, motivating, and also godly.

Please the Lord.

Lord,

I pray that you will inspire my son

to know

HOW

to celebrate accomplishments

in a positive, godly, uplifting way.

Dear Lord,

I pray for my child this day.

I pray for your protection and your guidance in his life.

I pray that my child

will easily recognize

your will

in

each situation and each decision

he encounters

throughout his day.

I pray that

you will whisper encouragement to him

when he faces a difficult decision

or

when he faces weariness.

Prayers for a Healthy Body

Dear Lord,

I pray for my son.

I pray that my son would have a strong, healthy body.

*

I pray that you would
protect him
from sickness and from accidents.

*

I pray that you would bless him
with your thoughts
on his
food choices each day.

*

I pray that you would bless him
with your thoughts
on exercise and adequate rest.

*

I pray that you would encourage him
to pursue
godly balance in his life.

*

Thank you for everything you are doing for my son.

Dear Lord of Miracles,

Bless my son.

Bless his mind.

Release his mind from anything
that
hinders
clear, wise thinking.

Remind him
to
think upon godly things.

Bless his emotions.

Stabilize his emotions
and draw
his emotions
upward.

Help him to resist destructive emotions.

Bless his body. 

Heal his body of every attack against it.

Strengthen and energize his body.

Monitor and regulate his blood pressure,
heart rate, hormones
and
all his body functions
so that
they are perfect in your sight.

bringing your miracles
to his mind, his emotions, and his body.
