Early Morning Prayer

of 

Strength and Dedication

A Daily Prayer

for

Christians 

Mighty God,

I begin my day

with thoughts of thankfulness and praise

to you

for all your blessings.

You are worthy to be PRAISED!

Loving Lord,

come and help me today

to be all I can be in Christ Jesus.

Rise up in me.

Rise up in your people.

Stir us to follow you closely this day.

Bring us your strength.

Bring us your boldness.

Bring us your purity.

Harmonize us to you

and

to your plans and purposes.

May we respond to you with enthusiasm and dedication.

Heavenly Father,

You are our compass - guide us.

You are our bread - feed us.

You are our medicine - heal us.

May we hold fast to your truths and to your every Word.

Today

I lift up my loved ones to you in prayer.

I ask for you to bless each one.

I ask you to fill them with

hope for every distress,

comfort for every sadness,

guidance for every decision,

and strength for every challenge.

May they fully embrace

all the opportunities you give them

to experience joy and laughter in this day.  

For those loved ones who are far from you -

I ask you to draw them near.

Remove the barriers from _ (name) __ to a close

relationship with you.

Remove the barriers of __(name) _____ to a close

relationship with you.

I call out to you

for

Holy Spirit winds of godly change

for them.

Bring refreshing winds of clear thinking.

Bring restoring winds of repentance and godliness.

Bring reviving winds of dedication to you.

Speak to their hearts.

May they soon

yield to you each day.

Today

I lift up my country to you.

I ask you to turn things around for my county.

Stir us to increase in godliness.

Stir us to expand righteousness throughout the land.

Stir us to come to you for wisdom.

You are our daily compass.

You are

the answer to our every need.

Today,

I praise my personal Lord and Savior. 

I ask you to use this prayer

to prepare my heart to follow you closely. 

I will breathe deeply and receive your refreshment.

I proclaim that  - 

for YOUR Glory

I will follow you

today!

For the glory of my God,

I will triumph over temptations and trials.

For the glory of my God,

I will practice kindness and forgiveness.

For the glory of my God,

I will spend time reading your Scriptures with a teachable heart.

For the glory of my God,

I will repent when I sin.

For the glory of my God,

I will live a life of praising you.

For the glory of my God,

I will leave this prayer with a brand-new smile on my face. 

You are

the God in whom my soul contentedly rests. 

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ

who is

my

Awe - Inspiring Lord and Good Shepherd,

Amen
