who does great things like - 

Visit a sick friend.

Send a link to an inspirational video.

Go fishing with someone and talk about Jesus.

Help clean your church.

Volunteer to help feed the hungry.

Cook a meal for a sick friend.

Send an encouraging text to someone -

how about a teen?

Ask a friend to take walks with you. 

We are the army

who teaches our kids

to know the Bible and to know God.

And

we can also learn along with them.

Will you

one day be in heaven

realizing

that you missed

lots

of opportunities

to draw your family closer to God? 

We are the ARMY who serves God

by using

our talents and our skills

to bring blessing

to others

and to

teach our skills to others

for

the glory of God.

teaching a Bible study for your neighbors

and perhaps

Story - Telling

Idea

for those whose

young grandchildren

are far away.

Buy two Bible storybooks.

Send one to a grandchild.

Then call your grandchild and read the book

while your grandchild

holds

his or her book and looks at the pictures.

We are the army who

sends Bible verses and prayers

to those God puts on our heart.

Great Idea -

I bought a blank journal book.

I am making it into

an

encouraging  prayer  book

for my sister-in-law! 

You could use the prayers on this site and do it too!

Help your

grandchild

Superhero for Jesus!

Friends - 

We Seniors

are

stronger than we realize!

We may get attacked

by difficult circumstances

but we rise up  in God's strength!

When life  tries  to keep us down.

we are like a

beach ball

pushed under water.

We get

pushed down   yet   we surprise everyone

when

we pop up!

Today I am going to have a BIG blessing people day!

I'll share that today - 

I am sending a card in the mail to a discouraged friend.

I am on Amazon buying some Wally McDoogle books for children in a Christian orphanage. I am buying some for my young relatives also.

I am praying with a friend about our country. 

I am finishing a prayer book for my loved one.

I'll explain the prayer book - 

I write down prayers in a blank journal book
that I am praying for her and that she can pray for herself.
It will be a gift to her.
Many of the prayers on this site
are ones I've written for a friend or family member.
You can use my prayers
to put in our own prayer book for a loved one.

And today    -   I am working on this page!

And, then I am going to look for another opportunity to bless people!

Spend time praying for loved ones.

Generously

Pay

a beloved teenager

to watch a Christian movie or read a book in the Bible.

Do not just give money to grandkids -
let them earn it
through doing something godly.

Drive a friend to the doctor or grocery store.

Start a helps ministry for elderly women.

Buy a Christian toy for a beloved child - such as...

Noah's Ark, Daniel in the Lions Den, etc.

Help with

VSB at your church -

make refreshments, collect the art supplies, teach, etc.

More church opportunities -
Greeter,
making meals,
teaching, assistant to the teacher, nursery worker, cleaning the church,
sending birthday cards,
clearning up after an event,
putting up and taking down chairs.

Buy a

for a beloved child and help that child

learn about the armor.

Spread the Gospel

Take opportunities to

spread the Gospel.

Make

the Most of

Proclaiming the Gospel.

Today I went to the grocery store.

I was paying the cashier.

Note that there was a customer behind me.

At

the check-out

my bagger

saw my mayonnaise and it made him think about

his favorite mayonnaise.

He said that he LOVED Blue Plate Mayonnaise.

Then

he said, "You only live once!"

I took that opportunity to say,

"Yes, so we need to repent and live for Jesus!"

He exclaimed, "That's right!"

By taking that opportunity,

I proclaimed the Gospel

to the cashier, the customer behind me, and the bagger. 

My CD ministry.

I will explain.

Multiple times a year,

I go to my financial institution

(you could go to a bank or credit union)

and

I take out a

$ 1000 Certificate of Deposit  - which earns interest.

You can choose a 6 months or a year CD.

During the time

the representative is helping me,

the

representative

is obligated to be nice to me.

I try to find an opportunity

to talk

about Jesus

during that visit.

-

I might say,

"Thank you for helping me with this CD.

I am getting older and every penny is helpful.

It won't be too long before I meet Jesus.

I am so excited to see Jesus!

Have you repented of your sins

and now LIVE for Jesus?"

Usually, they appear unsure.

So I might say,

"Jesus loves you and he gives the Bible to you as a gift. And he wants you
to repent of your sins and give your whole life to him
so he can
give you the gift of heaven when you die."

Sometimes the representative loves Jesus

and

rejoices with me about Jesus!

Take Note:

I have a Bible verse as my password to my account.

Sometimes a representative
will be curious
about my password
even before
I can say anything about Jesus.

 I am calling for my fellow seniors to step it up.

Let's get busy for the Lord.

Most of us have

lots of time.

If

we don't get busy,

it will be too late

to give out

all of the love and support to this world that

God wants us to give.

>>>    If not now - WHEN?    <<<

Some of us are busy for God but

we need to adjust

WHAT

we are doing with our time.

Those need to think through the questions -

Am I doing what I can to mazimize my godly touches to my loved ones?

Am I doing things to reach out with the Gospel to those in my community?

Some of us are  - not -  busy at all for God.

Those people need to immediately stir themselves up

for godly service.

Why?

Because it is what God says to do.

Father God, 

I pray for myself and each one visiting this page.

I pray that you will bless all our efforts

to motivate ourselves and encourage ourselves

to get up and get busy for you.

I pray that you will help us find ideas to bless others.
