true enemies.

The Bible says,

" For we wrestle

not against flesh and blood,

but

against principalities,

against powers,

against the rulers

of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places."

For us

as

New Testament Christians

it is especially helpful

to view

Psalm 3

as directed toward

our demonic enemies.

Psalm 3 verse 7

"  Arise, O Lord; save me,

O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies

upon the cheek bone;

thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.  "
