In my personal life, 

I pray for a beloved friend who had a stroke.

She has had miracles -

yet she has not been restored back

to her condition before the stroke. 

God is able

to do a complete work so we continue to pray.

We who love her

pray for her progress

which could come slowly or suddenly.

We pray continually for God's intervention. 

Our assignment from God is to pray.

God

is the healer. 

I remind you that -

Our prayers are

POWERFUL.

God gave us the assignment

to pray - 

Faith-containing,

mountain - moving

prayers.

We are in the praying department

not the

results department.

God is the only one in the results department.

We CAN rest assured

that God loves and cares for this woman

and for

the person whose situation

brought you to this page -

whether it is

you or a loved one.

Prayer

Please join me in prayer

Heavenly Father,

We lift up and pray for those who have suffered a stroke. We  raise them up to you in prayer for blessing.

Today, we specifically raise up the reader's situation and my  friend's situation. 

We pray for restoration. We pray for your healing touch to bless their body and their mind. Lord, we pray for your healing touch on their arms and hands - on their legs and feet. We pray for healing of any facial issues.

We pray for your blessings on their speech and their verbal communication. We pray for perfect brain functioning.

We call out for restoration.

Lord, you are a miraculous God.

Lord, we ask that you would miraculously bring this person  back to full functioning.

We pray that this person will walk and move and speak as though the stroke never happened.

We pray that this person could walk and move and speak even better than before the stroke.

Lord, we call out to you for your miraculous blessings. You made our bodies and you know how to fix them.

Thank you Lord, that we have access to the throne-room of heaven.

We rejoice that you welcome us into your very presence.

Heavenly Father,

remind the person praying with me

that you continually

give loving attention to the situation

we are praying about.

Lord, we praise you that you never sleep or slumber.

You are always attentive to our needs.

You are always working on our behalf. 

We ask that you bring greater peace in our heart

as we expectantly wait

for your healing interventions to happen.

A Peaceful and Powerful Prayer

for those who have experienced a stroke.

Prayer for Restoration of

Speech

Dear Lord,

I pray with those who have come to this page

concerned about side effects of a stroke.

We pray for the needs of stroke sufferers.

Right now we focus on their needs

for healing of their speech.

We pray for restoration of communication.

We pray that you would heal 

their voice and all that has to do with their communication.

We pray for any healing

 needed

in their brain. 

We ask that you would touch and heal

all the communication concerns

and all the health concerns

 of this person.

We praise Jesus - who loves us and gave his life for us.

And we pray in his name,
