Not celebrated

I am not celebrated.

My heart aches.

This page addresses situations - 

mainly with

family members

but may apply to friends.

Everyone wants to be

celebrated

not

tolerated.

Prayer 

Heavenly Father,

You are the God of all comfort.

I come to you with a need for comfort.

I am suffering

because

I have loved ones who do not celebrate me.

I feel their distance.

I feel

their lack of enthusiasm

about

being with me

and about

hearing about my life.

Their negative feelings about me are easy to perceive.

I call out to you

for your intervention.

God, I want to have a close relationship with them.

I want to feel peace between us.

I love them. 

Stir them with love for me.

Draw their mind toward pleasant thoughts about me. 

Draw their mind toward peace with me.

You are the God

who does the impossible.

Take these impossible situation and create great relationships.

Loving Teacher,

Guide my prayers.

Bring me insights.

Tell me things I can do to make things better.

Speak loudly to me.

I will listen.

I know that I need to rest more deeply in your love

in order to

need less from them.

Teach me to do that God.

Your Word says

that YOU are my portion.

I pray that my thoughts and feelings

would come into greater agreement

with the truth that

You are enough.

I pray this prayer,

Loving and Life - changing name of Jesus,
