Beth's Commentary:

Growing up isn't easy.

We get wounds.

Daily life isn't easy.

We get wounds.

Wounds create pain.

Pain seeks pleasure.

Seeking pleasure takes us into sin

that will destroy us.

Seeking God takes us into

healing.

Jack Frost can help guide us toward healing

if

we will be determined to listen and follow wisdom.

"We were created by God to love and be loved."

Jack often talks about how

parents are

supposed to show their children God's love.

Jack often says that

many times

parents misrepresent

God's love

when talking to their children.

Beth's Commentary:

Most of us got wounded as a child. Jack often talks about how parents often misrepresent God's love to us - and that creates a wound.

Most of us put up walls to protect ourselves.

All parents are flawed. All teachers, coaches, and pastors are flawed.

Parents

Some parents are more wounding than others.

Childhood is often marred with being wounded.

Three Jack Frost Quotes:

"Silence,

where there should have been loving words,

leaves a wound."

"Unexpressed love leaves a wound.
