Life - Changing church services

Dear Lord,

I come before you to pray for people who will be attending our upcoming services. 

I pray that visitors will respond to you as you draw them to come and be in attendance. 

Prepare our visitors to have open hearts as they come to meet with you.

I pray that as they enter the sanctuary, they will be able to focus on you. Stir their desire to want to focus on you and give this time to you.

Help them to lay aside their problems and challenges.

Help them to be able to lay aside their pains - physical and emotional.

Help them to be free from any tiredness.

Refresh them.

I pray that they would be able to lay down all things that could distract them from your spiritual messages to them.

I pray that the only hunger and thirst they feel during this time is a hunger and thirst for you. 

Speak loudly and lovingly to their hearts.

May this upcoming service be later seen by them as a great blessing.

May the preaching of the Gospel -

including

gaining deeper understanding of you and your Word -

be the goal of this upcoming service.

Lord, remind me and all our members to be uplifting and welcoming to our visitors.

I pray in Jesus' Saving Name,
