Psalm 20
is God's prayer for us to pray.

God's word is full of POWER!

First, consider listening to Psalm 20

being beautifully sung.

A Model Prayer from the Bible

Psalm 20 is a model prayer

for us to use when we pray.

Further down the page,

I have Psalm 20

written in a prayer for you to pray for yourself.

Next,
I am lifting up this Psalm 20 prayer
for all those who love Jesus
and are reading this page:

Almighty God,

I pray this prayer over each one and speak directly over each one...

My prayer is that the Lord God of Creation would answer you in the day of trouble;

May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;

May He send you help from the sanctuary,

And strengthen you out of Zion;

May He remember all your offerings,

And accept your burnt sacrifice.

Selah.

May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,

And fulfill all your purpose.

We will rejoice in your salvation,

And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!

May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.

Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed;

He will answer him from His holy heaven

With the saving strength of His right hand.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;

But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

They have bowed down and fallen;

But we have risen and stand upright.

Save, LORD!

May the King answer us when we call.

This prayer I pray in Jesus' name,

Amen

Based on Psalm 20 NKJV

* Selah - pause and think about that.

When we are faced with troubles and our heart is overwhelmed,
how do we fashion a prayer?

Personalizing Psalm 20

This model prayer from the Bible

is personalized below.

Dear Lord,

I pray this prayer for me:

May the Lord answer me in the day of trouble;

May the name of the God of Jacob defend me;

May He send me help from the sanctuary, and strengthen me out of Zion;

May He remember all my offerings, and accept my burnt offerings.

Selah.

May He grant me according to my heart’s desire,

And fulfill all my purpose.

I will rejoice in my salvation, and in the name of my God I will set up my banners!

May the Lord fulfill all my petitions.

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed;

He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But I will remember the name of the Lord our God.

They have bowed down and fallen; But I have risen and stand upright.

Save, Lord!

May the King answer me when I call.

Amen
